Are my documents and files private in Tallymark?

Uploaded documents are kept in private, account-scoped storage. Signed-in access is checked against the owning account, downloads use opaque storage keys, and document responses are marked private and not stored by the browser. Store only files your team is authorized to keep; a vendor upload link is limited to its selected replacement document and does not grant account access.

How reliable are Tallymark’s expiration reminders?

Each active tracked item follows the same email cadence: 90, 60, 30, 14, and 7 days before expiration, while its status remains visible in the dashboard. Email delivery can still be delayed or filtered by a provider, so Tallymark does not promise guaranteed inbox delivery; use the dashboard as your source of truth too.

Can a vendor upload a replacement document without joining our account?

Yes. From an item with an active document, create a vendor upload link for that specific file. The link expires after 7 days and can be used once; the vendor can upload the replacement without account access, and the upload stays pending for the owner to review before it becomes active. Vendors cannot browse your workspace or replace arbitrary documents through the link.

The Free plan is $0 forever and includes up to 5 active tracked items, private document storage, and the full 90 / 60 / 30 / 14 / 7-day email reminder cadence. There is no credit card requirement. The limit applies to active tracked items, so you can move up when your renewal list needs more room.
